| • Graduate in Civil Engineering with minimum experience of 5 years or Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum experience 15 years in execution of Railway Track laying/maintenance • At least 3 years experience in SSE or equivalent Grade or above of Civil Engineering department or of Railways and/or as AM or above in Civil Engineering department in RITES/IRCON/RVNL or equivalent grade in Konkan Railway/MRVC/DFCCIL/ any JVs or SPVs with Ministry of Railways, any Metro Rail Corporation. • Either individually or combined and involved in Railway track laying/maintenance. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise construction and maintenance of railway track, including rails, sleepers, ballast, points & crossings, and track fittings. • Review drawings, specifications, BOQ, and technical documents related to P. Way works. • Monitor track alignment, levels, gauge, gradients, and geometry as per approved standards. • Supervise activities such as rail laying, welding, tamping, ballast profiling, track linking, and stressing of rails. • Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, railway standards, and safety requirements. • Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, survey teams, and other railway disciplines. • Conduct site inspections and verify the quality and progress of P. Way works. • Check measurements, quantities, and contractor bills related to track works. • Identify construction issues and coordinate corrective actions. • Prepare/verify daily progress reports, inspection reports, measurement records, and other project documentation. • Ensure compliance with railway safety procedures and work permits. • Assist in testing, commissioning, and final inspection of railway track works. • Guide junior engineers and site staff in P.
