| • Conduct thorough audits of design outputs to ensure compliance with industry standards and quality benchmarks. • Review design calculations, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility. • Identify potential design flaws and quality issues, providing corrective action plans and recommendations for improvement. • Collaborate with design engineers to discuss findings and suggest viable solutions. • Prepare detailed reports summarizing audit findings and present these to the reporting authority. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, codes, and regulations related to structural design. • Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance quality awareness within the design team. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings clearly and effectively. • Previous experience as a design engineer with a proven track record of quality assurance or quality control roles. • Experience with design software (MIDAS, SOFISTIC) and tools relevant to structural engineering. • Professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent is preferred. • Hands-on experience in detailed structural design, specifically with cable-stayed bridges and associated structures. | ||
